Dr. Neelu Jatana
Dr. Neelu Jatana completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo before pursuing a career in Optometry. She gained her certification at the Aston University School of Optometry in the heart of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Her professional training in the United Kingdom consisted of practicing alongside experienced Optometrists in diagnosing and managing a wide array of visual and ocular conditions. During the course of her professional development, Dr Jatana also had the oppurtunity to work with Ophthalmologists at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital assisting in various procedures pertaining to ocular conditions such as Cataract, Glaucoma, and Orthoptics. She also participated in the Diabetic and Retinal Disease Screening program at the hospital.
Dr Jatana is an active member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. She is board certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry as well as Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents in Canada. In the United Kingdom, she is board certified by the General Optical Council.
Outside the office, Dr Jatana enjoys spending quality time at home with her husband and son. Cooking and interior design are just a few of her interests. She has a passion for travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world.
